A great opportunity which will allow you to show that you have had independent training for Coasteering, an activity for which there is no National Governing Body but there is a recognised safety forum and guidelines.

Date: 12th October 2017
Cost: £56.00 (including lunch)

The workshop will be based at Tollymore National Outdoor Centre and will run from 9:30am until 5:30pm.

The workshop will cover the key aims of the NCC which are:
1. Setting minimum operating standards to work to,
2. Setting minimum training standards to train Coasteering Guides.
3. Upholding environmentally sustainable methods of Coasteering.
4. Providing an opportunity for providers to share information to improve practice.
5. Providing an opportunity to share information on incidents, accidents and near misses to continually improve coasteering safely.

Tollymore National Outdoor Centre are delighted to announce that this workshop will be run by Keirron Tastagh from the Isle of Man and who is secretary of the National Coasteering Charter and was instrumental in the development of guidelines for good practice.
