Sport Northern Ireland is delighted to invite you to a short seminar that will provide information on recent developments in the Outdoor Sector.

Date: Tuesday 19th March 2019 | 9.30am
Location: Tollymore National Outdoor Centre


· 9.30am: Arrival – coffee tea and scones
· 10.00am: Welcome and introduction (Sport NI)
· 10.15am: Update on the removal of licensing legislation and the development of a UK non-statutory scheme (Paul Donovan – UKAIG)
· 11.00am: Update on the work of the Adventure Activities Industry Advisory Committee AAIAC (Craig McCullough – AAIAC)
· 11.30am: Coffee break
· 12.00pm: The “Benefits of Outdoor Sports to Society” – BOSS project and economic impact of outdoor recreation. (Mike McClure – SportNI)
· 12.30pm: The Outdoor Partnership – a model from N. Wales and potential for N. Ireland (Roger Sheridan)
· 1.00pm: Assoc. of Heads of Outdoor Centres developments and update
· 1.30pm: Lunch and networking
· 2.15pm: Plenary / discussions
· 3.00pm: Close
