Hi All,

I am just sending a quick email to keep you up to date with the current ‘Winter Campaign’ being delivered by CAAN.

Since Monday 11th the following actions have taken place:

Social Marketing

A new Facebook and Twitter page has been launched for both OutdoorNI.com and WalkNI.com

Our fan / follower base on both is growing strongly since the beginning on the week.

Exhibitions

CAAN will be attending

For both shows we will be distributing an ‘Activity Breaks’ Flyer consisting of the activity short breaks submitted by the trade before Christmas.

The flyer can be downloaded from the OutdoorNI.com on-line trade forum – red link at bottom of this email.

PR

We were delighted that BBC Countryfile featured the Ulster Way as part of their ‘Best of British Landscapes’ Special on BBC1 Sunday 10th Jan 2010.

Several strong pieces of PR were generated around a ‘New Year’s Resolutions’ press release including:

Irish Daily Star December 28th - Coasteering and Skydiving
Newsletter December 29th - Coasteering
Irish Daily Mirror Decmeber 28th -Coasteering

Further PR is expected this week based around the Belfast Holiday World Show for example we have already secured ½ page in Belfast Telegraph on 13th January.
