Our Keynote Speakers

Niall McKeown is the founder and Commercial Director of Ion, a leading digital strategy and marketing company based in Belfast. Over the past 10 years Niall has assisted local firms such as Hastings Hotels, La Mon Hotel and Country Club, The Merchant Hotel and Winemark Ltd with their online marketing strategies. Niall is a keen blogger and often presents on the nature and structure of online marketing strategies.

Gareth Dunlop is Managing Director of Tibus, the internet consultancy firm with operations in Belfast and Dublin. As a leading web specialist, Gareth has advised blue chip organisations including Spar, Bank of Ireland, Ulster Bank, Northern Bank, Invest NI, Intertrade Ireland, Enterprise Ireland, the NIO and the BBC. Gareth writes and lectures extensively on internet related matters, and he has a regular column in Business Eye and Business Plus magazines.

Joan Mulvihill has worked in industry (retail and manufacturing) for ten years in London and Amsterdam, before returning to Dublin and transitioning to a business advisory role for BDO Simpson Xavier. As the Senior Manager responsible for Family Business Services, she advised family-owned and entrepreneurial businesses on ownership and management succession.
Since leaving BDO in October 2008, she founded Starting Today, a series of seminars designed to support professionals and seniors managers impacted by the recent economic downturn. She is also a founding Director of Emerge Ireland, a business designed to support the incubation and acceleration of start-up businesses through the provision of consulting support and access to human and financial capital.
