The European Ropes Course Association is holding its first conference at the end of November / beginning of December with an excellent programme of speakers and workshops. The conference is to be on the 1st and 2nd December 2010 and will take place at Liddington - PGL’s newest centre near Swindon in Wiltshire. It will run from 1pm on the first day until 1pm on the second. It includes world experts in their respective fields and a highly entertaining key note speaker

Standards, legislation, practices and technology in the ropes course industry have changed dramatically in the last two years and the purpose of the conference is to bring attendees up to date with these developments. Furthermore, people will have the opportunity to see the role that ERCA has played in these developments and how its training and inspection schemes are leading the way in the United Kingdom. There are leading specialists who will make presentations on a variety of different topics which will be of significant relevance to organisations that operate a ropes course.

In the four days preceding the conference, ERCA has organised specialist training courses for those involved in the ropes course industry. ERCA has negotiated exceptionally favourable rates for these courses with a view to promoting the highest standards in the ropes course industry. The savings for participants are as high as £535 per course! Places for these courses are very limited and so, to avoid disappointment, places should be booked early.

Details of the conference can be found at http://www.erca.cc/events/uk2010conference/ with the programme at http://www.erca.cc/events/download/ERCA_Ropes_Course_Conference_Presentations.pdf#zoom=75&page=10
