The next Activity Tourism Forum is scheduled for Tuesday 19th October 2010 at Greenmount Agricultural College, near Antrim.
The agenda is available to download from the red link at the bottom of this email but to make it easy we have highlighted ‘5 Great Reasons to Attend’ this Free event:
1. CAAN Projects -Keep up to date with outdoor recreation projects currently under development by CAAN. -Learn about upcoming marketing opportunities available with CAAN / NITB.
2. Get involved in NITB’s next major outdoor activity focused campaign -Northern Ireland’s Big Adventure Weekend is scheduled for 9th & 10th April 2010 -NITB will potentially be investing £20-£30k in this event to raise awareness of the wide range of outdoor activities available in Northern Ireland. -Find out how your business can get involved
3. Learn how to increase your referral’s from OutdoorNI.com -OutdoorNI.com is the website for promoting outdoor activities in Northern Ireland -During June to September 2010 it received on average 10,500 absolute unique visitors per month -The website is undergoing a redesign during the Autumn for re-launch in January 2011 -Find out what you need to do NOW to increase your referrals from OutdoorNI.com
4. Get up to date on Activity Licensing - Find out more about: -The Lord Young review of the Health and Safety Executive -The development of Adventuremark in GB -The potential impact of all this combined with the public sector cutbacks on an accreditation scheme for Northern Ireland.
5. Visual Awareness Training –facilitated by RNIB -This seminar is specifically designed for those working in outdoor recreation -Receive practical advice and support on how to ensure blind and partially sighted people can gain the most from your services
