Adventuremark Training Workshop

Sport NI is delighted to announce that the Department of Culture Arts and Leisure has approved that Adventuremark be implemented in Northern Ireland as a suitable alternative to a Statutory Licensing scheme for adventure activities.

Sport NI in partnership with the Adventure Activities Industry Advisory Committee (AAIAC) and with support from the NI Tourist Board will be hosting 2 training seminars for activity providers.

These seminars will be run by Iain Peter and Bob Barton from Adventure Activity Associates who manage the Adventuremark scheme on behalf of AAIAC. The aim of them is to help providers get a clear understanding of the process of application and inspection, the potential benefits of accreditation and the support that is provided through the scheme.
