angela warren User This user joined in Jan 2009 and has made 32 posts. | Posted on 3 March 2011 at 14:40 Who should attend: Outdoor Activity Providers, Activity Instructors Building on the success of last year’s Disability Inclusion Workshops; this workshop will both challenge and enlighten delegates on methods of delivering outdoor activities to those with a disability. The activities focused on will be wet bouldering/gorge walking, hill walking or climbing at Altnadue Quarry and kayaking at Castelwellan Lake. This will be suitable for all of those who attended last year’s workshops as well as new recruits. It will be an interactive workshop so come prepared to get involved. This workshop will be facilitated by Disability Sports NI & SportNI. Disability Sports NI will provoke discussion on the theory aspects of disability inclusion and a selection of Sport NI, governing body coaching staff, will assist when tackling the practical aspects of inclusion. Delegate fees are £25 per person including lunch.
