Skills Active has asked to share the following training opportunity for private sector outdoor activity providers.

Outdoor Providers - would you like some customer care training before new season starts?

If your answer is yes, then the 2-day WorldHost customer service training programme may be of interest. Developed for the Northern Ireland market by NITB and People 1st, the sector skills council for hospitality, passenger transport, travel and tourism, the programme offers delegates a comprehensive training toolkit that can be used across a wide variety of industries where the quality of front-line customer service is key to business success.

Funding Support – how much does it cost?

The Department for Employment in Learning in Northern Ireland is providing funding support to eligible individuals and companies to obtain WorldHost Customer Service training. If you are currently employed in a private sector organisation in Northern Ireland; within the tourism sector, then the cost of WorldHost customer service package could be as little as £20 per candidate. This support is available to a limited number of applicants for training received until the end of March 2012.
