The elections for the Activity Tourism Working Group will also be taking place so please consider your proposals in advance. I will be circulating further details on Accreditation on OutdoorNI.com later this week. 13th Meeting Activity Tourism Forum 11.15am – 1.15pm Tuesday 16th October 2012 Greenmount Agricultural College, Antrim 11.15 a.m. Welcome and Introductions 11.20 a.m. Accreditation on OutdooorNI.com Details will be presented on how Outdoor Recreation NI wishes to give those activity providers with recognised safety accreditation prominence on OutdoorNI.com. With the introduction of Adventuremark in Northern Ireland it is now felt that there are a range of appropriate safety accreditation schemes which sufficiently cover the wide range of activities available on OutdoorNI.com. A detailed document will be circulated in advance of the ATF to explain the execution of this policy. 11.45 p.m. Northern Ireland Adventureland Campaign 2013 Details will be available on the Northern Ireland Adventureland Concept and extended promotional campaign. 11.55 p.m. Department of Employment and Learning (DEL) Support for Activity Tourism Sector – Mark McConville – Skills Delivery Branch DEL DEL’s presentation will outline the potential recruitment and training opportunities DEL can provide for the Activity Tourism Sector 12.20 p.m. Training Focus Group Following DEL’s presentation a focus group will be held in order to allow the sector to identify the most important training needs and identify a skeleton action plan for future delivery. 12.50 p.m. Election of Activity Tourism Working Group See details of election process in Appendix 1 1.00 p.m. A.O.B 1.10 p.m. Presentation of Outdoor Induction Awards by SkillsActive 8 Students will receive their awards following the completion of their course via South West College of Further Education For details on the full Outdoor Recreation NI Meeting which starts at 9.30 a.m. and the election process for the Activity Tourism Working Group please download the document by clicking on the red link at the bottom of this notification.
