Experiential Offers 2013 www.ireland.com

Tourism Ireland has launched Ireland.com, the new international website for tourism to the island of Ireland. The site will be rolled out in 30 markets around the world and in 11 different languages. The new site provides a brand new, one-stop shop for comprehensive information on all that the island of Ireland has to offer potential holidaymakers around the world.

Tourism Ireland is looking for experiential offers to entice visitors to close the deal and book a visit to the island of Ireland. All of our promotional activity drives consumers to www.ireland.com. We need your help in providing a range of exciting experiential offers to populate the offers section of www.ireland.com, which last year was visited by 12 million potential overseas visitors. Market research shows that offers which combine a sense of place and include uniquely Irish experiences convert enquiries into sales. The experiential offer is based around the idea of helping visitors get a real sense of the island of Ireland by offering additional value and an experience that can make their holiday truly memorable.

Northern Ireland is renowned for its friendly people and natural beauty, activities and attractions bring together these qualities in a great package of things to do. Northern Ireland also has a huge number of events and festivals taking place throughout the year to suit all interests. Derry~Londonderry is the UK City of Culture for 2013, Belfast is hosting the World Police & Fire Games, and The G8 summit of world leaders will be held in Co Fermanagh. Why not showcase your product, service or accommodation in an exciting experiental offer for 2013.

Please note - to be accepted, offers must meet the following criteria:
• Offers should be tailored for the overseas consumer market and include an experience and/or a descriptive sense of place.Validity dates must be provided and the closing date for the offer should be no more
than 6 months from the date the offer is submitted.
• The offers should be valid from now. The offer that appears on www.ireland.com must include a price.
• Detailed instructions on how to book the offer for the lead in price must be included and lead directly to a booking page rather than the property home page. This booking page must also have availability for that offer loaded for open periods and it must be possible to buy the offer at that point.
• Offers will be accepted from B&B´s and single unit self-catering properties and activity provider where offers appear on the property site but are not necessarily bookable.
• A high quality image is needed for each offer.
• No duplication of offers from a property will be accepted. www.ireland.com will only host one of each offer from a property. However, a property can have multiple offers when they are different e.g. 2 B&B and 1 dinner & entry to a festival or event, 1 B&B plus free visit to museum etc.
Offers will be accepted on an on-going basis, please submit your ireland.com offers before 28th February to gain maximum exposure; all offers will be displayed on www.ireland.com
