beverley pierson Administrator This user joined in Oct 2008 and has made 48 posts. | Posted on 13 May 2013 at 10:51 Outdoor Recreation NI are coordinating a weekend of FREE outdoor events branded ‘Get Outdoors Weekend’ instead of National Trails Day this September and we are opening up the call for events to outdoor activity providers as events can now take place anywhere in the outdoors and not just on trails. Why Get Involved? • Benefit from the exposure of the your business through the Get Outdoors Weekend Marketing Campaign • Encourage repeat business from paying customers • Ability to download the contact details for all participants booked onto your event for future marketing purposes Criteria for Events • Events must be free of charge • All events must be held on Saturday 21st or Sunday 22nd September 2013 or on both dates • To take part in the Get Outdoors Weekend, outdoor activity providers are required to have the necessary external safety accreditation. • For all events, participants must register online through Outdoor Recreation NI’s online booking system. Please note this event is completely separate from Northern Ireland Adventureland Weekend and events for this campaign have to be uploaded via the trade area on the new Get Outdoors Weekend website.
