The SkillsActive Outdoors Employer Training Survey aims to collect important basic comparative information (to compare with last time and into the future) and then information about the main challenges faced by outdoors organisations over the last 12 months, mainly in the field of training and development, employment and skills/qualifications. Developed by SkillsActive and the partner outdoors sector organisations The outdoors adventure sector is increasingly aware that excellent, current data about the sector and its employers is vital for and contributes to the future success of our dynamic, professional sector. Now we are delighted to announce the launch of a new UK survey which has been developed in partnership with the SkillsActive Outdoor Employers Group (OEG) and with some of the key outdoors associations and groups. The survey will be promoted by all organisations involved. This new survey follows on from the first general UK outdoors survey. This time, the SkillsActive Outdoors Employer Training Survey aims to collect basic comparative information (for use with the 2010 survey) and then information about the key issues for outdoors organisations over the last 12 months, mainly in the field of training and development, employment and skills/qualifications, with a special focus on the costs involved in training and qualifcations. Every organisation completing the survey will receive the executive summary of the survey on its completion. Furthermore, we would like to keep in touch with respondents with regular updates on key outdoors issues and developments which we believe will be of interest and use. We’ll keep them brief and only when necessary. (You can opt in or out of this at the end of the survey, and at any time in the future.) And of course, the survey reports will not contain individual organisations’ information and we will never share your information unless you expressly give us your permission to do so.
