sarahnelson Administrator This user joined in Jul 2011 and has made 81 posts. | Posted on 12 November 2014 at 15:36 Sport NI and the Department of Culture Arts and Leisure has been promoting and supporting the implementation of Adventuremark as a suitable alternative to statutory licensing under the Activity Centres (Safety of Young Persons) Northern Ireland Order 1998. As part of the ongoing work to promote good practice and industry recognised standards it is important to have a good understanding of the scale of the industry and the relevant safety systems which are in place, including third party independent accreditation schemes. This survey will assist Sport Northern Ireland (SNI) in updating previous research (covering the period 2009-2011) on the scale and range of provision in Northern Ireland.
