Hi All,

Bike Week is fast approaching…the UK’s biggest mass participation cycling event, this year they are challenging families to get more out of life by swapping their four wheels for two and exploring new places in their local community.

CAAN under the consumer brand -CycleNI.com are working with the organisers of Bike Week to tie in with their PR and marketing, therefore if you have any cycling events on from 13th to 21st June it is imperative that you enter the details onto CycleNI.com so that your event will be able to gain from this promotion. CycleNI.com also receives over 3000 unique visitors per month so if you have your event on the website – more people will know about it!

Also, it is a good idea to register your event on the National Bike Week’s website - www.bikeweek.org.uk because you will receive:
• Free event liability insurance for all registered Bike Week events up to £10 million
• Free promotional materials to help event organisers recruit participants, including posters, leaflets and registration forms,
• Free merchandise for participants including balloons, stickers, spoke reflectors and certificates,
• Expert advice and assistance including draft press releases, guidance on event management, useful local contacts and a regularly updated FAQ page,
• Free publicity for your event, as part of Bike Week's national PR/marketing strategy,
• Free competition entry with a chance to win a family break at Center Parcs, Thule bike carriers, and other fantastic prizes a
• Regular e-shot updates including useful hints and tips, and event suggestions.
