This event will hold a similar style and theme to our connecting community events Attendees with be from a wide range of areas families, older groups, and local community groups across Belfast. We aim to have targeted groups invited with around 30-40 people attending Date :- Sunday 25th October 2015 Time :- 2pm - 4.00pm (set up will be from 1.00-1.30) Venue :- Orangefield park Pavilion, Belfast Who is the event for? The event is for outdoor activity providers, walking groups, rambling clubs and those involved in providing outdoor recreation and walking activities to community group’s e.g. outdoor activity providers, walking clubs and rambling clubs Why should those involved in the provision of outdoor recreation attend? This free event will offer: • An opportunity to showcase your product and services to a variety of active older communities both families, older people and those from different cultures • A chance to meet individuals to join your walking group or club • A unique networking and information gathering opportunity with community groups • A chance to create future business opportunities • Ideas on sustainability for your business with the community and voluntary sector • The potential for under-represented groups to participate more in outdoor activities Providers of outdoor recreation will be provided with a small exhibition space (including a table and chair) to display their services. Light refreshments will be served. Limited stands are available so please book early to avoid disappointment. Priority will be given to those who are accredited and work in the Belfast Region.
